π Traffic Management for Upcoming Events
Several proposed ordinances seek temporary road closures to accommodate major running events scheduled in early March, including 32K and 5K races and school-organized fun runs. These measures aim to ensure public safety while minimizing traffic disruption.
πΆ Strengthening Protection Against Child Labor
A proposed ordinance introduces stronger mechanisms to prevent and eliminate child labor in Iloilo City while providing social protection for affected children and their families.
π° Barangay and Youth Budgets Up for Approval
The Council will review and declare operative several barangay supplemental budgets and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) annual budgets to ensure compliance with national laws and proper fiscal management.

Committee reports recommend the acquisition of two properties in Jaro worth over ₱78 million combined, intended to expand the City's socialized housing program and provide additional sites for housing development.
